Dodgers Clubhouse Attendant Talks About Throwing Out Chris Taylor

Dodgers fans have loved the storylines that have come out of Summer Camp so far, but none more so than that of the legend of Chico. The clubhouse attendant has made a name for himself by making a few outstanding plays out in left field, to the point of Ross Stripling asking Doc to keep him in there.

Chico joined Roggin and Rodney this week to talk about his experience so far in Summer Camp. As expected, Dodgers fans wanted to hear more about him throwing out Chris Taylor.

Yeah, it was a Barnes’ fly ball to left field pretty deep. I hear Kiké say ‘he’s tagging,’ so I got under the ball and I threw it in. It all happened so fast…Everyone was laughing, and cheering, and clapping…it was a fun moment.

Chico wasn’t really supposed to get more time in the lineup, but he made his way back in on Sunday. Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts likely has a soft spot for him by now, and Chico talked about how thankful Doc has been towards him during this whole process.

Yeah, he says I’m doing a really good job out there, he’s been thanking me a lot. Kind of thanking me for going out there and playing your best.

No matter how long this Chico saga lasts, we’ll always be thankful for those highlights. Some of the best plays you will ever see from a Dodgers’ clubhouse attendant.
