Dodgers Deliver a 2020 World Series Ring to Vin Scully

The Dodgers are World Series Champions. Even almost 6 months later. it’s hard to say that without getting excited or a little misty-eyed. Getting their rings to celebrate the massive victory was just the cherry on top of a beautiful season.

But then the Dodgers had to go do this and get us all in our feelings. The team announced today on social media that they had delivered a 2020 World Series ring to the one and only Vin Scully. And yes, this is by far the largest championship ring that Vin has ever had!

The legendary broadcaster may have retired from the booth almost 5 years ago. But he’s also a permanent fixture in the organization, and no one outside of the current club deserves a ring more than he does.

Vin has been without his 1988 World Series ring for a few months now. The Dodgers broadcaster auctioned off a decent amount of his career memorabilia to give back to charity as well as to save for his children and grandchildren.

A few of Vin’s rings from over the decades are now on display at the stadium as part of the renovations from the Dodgers.
