Dodgers: Drake Goes on a Date At An Empty Dodger Stadium

Romance? Still very much alive.

This is your reminder that if he really wanted to, he would. Dodgers fans woke up this morning to the news that music artist Drake went on a date at Chavez Ravine last night. And it’s enough to make anyone jealous.

Drake reportedly made a large donation to the Dodgers Foundation in order to make the date at an empty Dodger Stadium happen. The date appeared to be a one-on-one dinner right in front of the team’s dugout.

The picture below was oddly taken via news helicopter proving that no matter how much money you pay, you’re never out of the public eye.

Other Dodgers News

The Dodgers are bringing up a left-handed arm this week that they are hoping can contribute immediately. Dave Roberts talked about the called up southpaw Darien Nunez this week, and he went as far as to compare to Aroldis Chapman. Does he have the same stuff? We’ll have to wait and see!

Joe Kelly is one of the funniest Dodgers in recent memory, and he just keeps creating new moments. This week, he gave us one of the best reactions to a missed cal by an umpire that we’ve seen in a while. The good news? The call very much went his way.

  1. This is the way Dodger stadium will eventually look as long as Roberts is managing. Comparing Nunez with Chapman? Has Roberts looked at Chapman’s stats for the past month? Chapman and Cole are both having illegal sticky substance withdrawal.
