Dodgers FanFest 2018: Fun and Informative Tips from the Fans at Dodger Stadium

Dodgers FanFest will take place January 27th, from 10 AM to 4 PM. FanFest always draws large crowds, and there will be many returning fans along with first timers. With the event right around the corner, we asked our followers for some tips for first time attendees.

First and foremost, although the event is free you will need a digital ticket from Dodgers.com/FanFest. Having this ticket and the MLB Ballpark app on your phone is the only way to gain entry into the event.

Parking for the event opens at 9:30 AM, at Gates A, C, and E. We recommend you get there as early as you can.

We received plenty of tips from fans, all of which will help first timers navigate FanFest. A common theme among the tips was to arrive early. The event will be crowded and lines will be long.

For autograph sessions, it’s important to get your tickets quickly. You also want to get in line for autograph sessions as early as possible, they will be long. It’s also important to watch the schedule for when players you want to hear will be speaking, so you can make sure you’re there.

As noted by a few fans as well, it’s important to use sunscreen and stay hydrated. You’ll be outside for most of the day.

The most common tip we received is to remember to be courteous and enjoy the event. You’re there to have a good time.

All of these tips are helpful, but it’s also important to pay attention to what the officials at the event tell you that day. The event will be crowded, so it will be important to decide what you’ll want to partake in as early as possible as you may run out of time. The player autograph schedule has yet to be announced, but it should come a few days before FanFest takes place. You will also need to purchase tickets ahead of time for the autograph sessions.

We’ve also included a couple videos from Dodgers FanFest’s in the past.

The most important thing is that you enjoy the event, so we hope these tips help. We also want to thank everyone who took the time to send in their advice!
