Dodgers Fans Boo Correa, Who Will Be LA’s Future Shortstop, Underrated Urías, and More
The Dodgers upended the Minnesota Twins by a final of 10-3. It was LA’s 9th straight victory and 31st victory in 36 games. Things are certainly going well at the moment for the boys in blue.
On Tuesday night, starter Julio Urias dominated for 7 innings, allowing just 1 run on 5 hits. He struck out 8 and earned his 12th win of the season. The game also saw the continued resurgence of Max Muncy and Cody Bellinger who combined to go 3-9 with 4 of the 10 runs batted in. Newcomer Joey Gallo also collected his first extra base hit as a Dodger.
The other big storyline was the return of former Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa who faced a chorus of boos every time he stepped in the box.
Another important note, Dodgers star shortstop Trea Turner went 2-3 in his 161st game in Dodger blue and with that, we got this wild stat.
The #Dodgers now have 121 wins in 161 regular season games with Trea Turner in the lineup since last year.
Pretty dang wild.
