The unofficial first half of the season has come and gone and, all things considered, things turned out fairly OK for the Dodgers. 1. When Seager returns, someone will have to be sent out. Now as far as Lux goes, he may stay but because of his struggles with LHP, his role may be reduced. Bottom line is that if players want regular playing time that must be more consistent against BOTH RHP and LHP.

    1. I don’t see why Lux, Taylor and occasionally Muncy don’t platoon at 2nd. Lux can also spell Corey now and then at SS. Pujols plays first when Max needs a day off or moves to second. Taylor moves all over the infield and OF as needed. This is a GREAT problem to have, as Dodger depth with everyone back is a sight for sore eyes!

Clint your takeaway that the Dodgers 1st half is “fairly OKAY” is so wrong. Ending up with the 2nd best record in baseball, and have had their Opening Day team for all of 3 or 4 games all season, that’s fairly OK? It’s neither fairly or ok!! That’s fantastic and as soon as the gnats fade, Dodgers will be restored to NL West leaders and best NL team

      1. Well we will see Lux in a platoon anyway if he continues to struggle against LHP. If ya asked Lux. He probably prefers to be an every day player. CT3 pretty much is in there daily too. Again, who gets sent out when Seager returns, that will be figured out when the time comes.

  2. Lux has been a handicap at the plate and in the field. He needs to better his skills in the
    minors or elsewhere.
