Dodgers: Gavin Lux Talks Hitting in His Third YouTube Video

Despite all the trade chatter, Dodgers wunderkind Gavin Lux is keeping his off-season business as usual. And as we learn more about Gavin’s “usual,” we learn that there’s a lot of back and forth for the infielder.

Last time on his YouTube channel — which you absolutely should subscribe to — he showed us some workouts he was doing in his home state of Wisconsin that appeared to help defense and explosiveness, as big leaguers call it. In the latest installment from his channel, we learn about his off-season batting practice work.

In this latest video, Lux remains in Wisconsin where he puts in cage work with his uncle. Gavin explains his hitting work with his uncle.

He’s pretty much who I hit with every day in the off-season — he throws BP to me, and we sit down and watch video — we go through it all, so he’s my go-to guy.

As Gavin notes “coach Lux” was inducted into the coaching hall of fame — assuming Wisconsin — so he’s a good shoulder to lean on.

The second baseman remains one of the hottest prospects in trade talks this off-season, but he isn’t letting that slow him down.

Lux is spending his time split between his hometown of Kenosha and Los Angeles this off-season.
