Dodgers: Giants Fan Instantly Regrets Catching Mookie Betts’ Homerun Ball

It was a really tough night to be a Giants fan on Wednesday. With San Francisco facing off against Los Angeles in their second game, the Dodgers’ offense ran wild. That included a homerun off the bat of Mookie Betts, which featured a heartbreaking but hilarious moment.

A Giants fan didn’t reach over the fence to catch the ball, but many wondered if he had stopped a robbery. The Dodgers fans surrounding him made sure to comfort him as he was clearly upset by the homer and catch.

Take a look for yourself. Did the Dodgers have it in the bag regardless of him getting in the way? Or did this guy just save us from a terrible robbery at the wall?

Regardless, it made for one heck of a moment for the Dodgers fans around him. Los Angeles went on to win 9-1 in a blowout victory. Up next, they head out to Chicago to play 3 games against the Cubs over the weekend.
