The Dodgers are one of the most popular teams in all of baseball and with good reason. A team with 40 wins in a 60-game season deserves all the love and attention, in my opinion. But it’s about so much more than just being a good team that sells jerseys.
The Dodgers managed to get 3 guys on MLB’s top 10 list for jersey sales in 2020. The numbers were announced today, and Mookie Betts came in at the top. That’s not much a surprise, given that Betts was traded from Boston AND signed a massive 12-year extension to stay in Los Angeles for life. It is the first time that Betts will top the list of jersey sales in baseball. Betts will also be the first Dodgers’ player to ever do so.
The Dodgers also had Cody Bellinger come in at number 6 on the list. That was a little surprising given the down season that the reigning NL MVP is having. Clayton Kershaw finished up at 9th in jersey sales, and his 2020 resurgence probably has a little bit to do with that. But Kershaw will always be one of the greats, so selling jerseys for him should be easy.

At 40-17, the Dodgers have the best record in all of baseball. They are one of the most exciting teams in all of baseball to watch, and these 3 guys are part of the reason. What better way to celebrate than by going out to buy all 3?
