Dodgers Hold On in Win Over White Sox in Virtual Spring Training 2020

The Dodgers were cruising 4-0 for the first 8 innings before Joe Kelly struggled in the 9th. Still LA held on to a 4-2 win over the White Sox of virtual Chicago. Julio Urias got the win and Dallas Keuchel took the loss. Kenley Jansen earned the save.

PITCHING REPORT: Julio Urias made his second start of the spring — first virtual — and tossed 6 scoreless innings while striking out 5. Dylan Floro faced the minimum in 2 innings of work before Joe Kelly struggled in the 9th. After Kelly allowed a 2-run home run and recorded only one out, Kenley Jansen came on to close it out at Dodger Stadium.

Dallas Keuchel never had it, allowing 4 earned runs in 5 innings pitched.

HITTING REPORT: The Dodger bats were powerful with a pair of 2-run home runs, one by Mookie Betts and the other Max Muncy. White Sox star second baseman Yoan Moncada connected for a 2-run bomb in the 9th.

The cyber Dodgers moved to 3-0 in virtual spring training play.
