Dodgers: How to Watch Tonight’s Dodger Game Free on Apple TV

For as long as the tv deal has been in place, Dodgers fans have struggled to get the chance to watch their team play. That deal complicated things for a lot of fans, but there are some new solutions coming out. If Major League Baseball wants to continue to grow the game and its audience, this sort of thing will need to become more common.

Baseball announced earlier this year that they would be streaming games on Apple TV+. The Dodgers game tonight will be one of the games exclusively streamed on Apple TV. That means that if you have SportsNet LA, it will not be on that channel tonight. A reminder that tonight’s will also be celebrating Jackie Robinson Day.

The deal with Apple was a decent-sized one for MLB, totaling roughly $85 million per year. It was a very odd thing for Dodgers fans to hear, especially when it was initially announced that their first Apple TV game would be on Jackie Robinson game. But the early feedback is that the game features a very clean look and that the picture appears to be more clear.

The good news for Dodgers fans is that they are available for free up until June 24th. After that, the assumption is that a subscription to watch games would be required. So while it will eventually be behind a paywall, it’s important to note that the Jackie Robinson Day game will be available on a national scale for the 75th anniversary. That’s huge.

Fans looking to watch the game tonight can head over to Apple TV+ today to sign up for the free trial. That way, you won’t miss tonight’s Dodgers game.
