Dodgers Injury News: Dustin May Throws 101 And Reliever Trade Option

The Dodgers find themselves in a very tough spot with roster health lately. In the bullpen, they’ve really found it difficult to keep some of their biggest names healthy. That includes losing Daniel Hudson for the season this weekend with a torn ACL in his knee.

But there are a number of names on the horizon, and the Dodgers need to find a way to wait them out. Dustin May is throwing heat out in Arizona as he works his way back from Tommy John surgery, but he just started to face batters.

If the Dodgers want to make a move for a bullpen piece, there are guys available. We broke that down here and made some predictions as to what we might see in the coming weeks.

Regardless of what they decided to do, the Dodgers are short on arms right now. That’s true for the bullpen as well as the starting staff. Something needs to change soon, and waiting on the possibility of guys getting healthy might not be the move for them right now.

That need might have been further magnified on Saturday night in Atlanta. The Dodgers had to go with Brusdar Graterol late in a tied game, and he gave up a 2-run shot to Marcell Ozuna to give the Braves the lead for good.
