Dodgers: Jomboy Breaks Down Exchange with Manny Machado and Brusdar Graterol

The playoffs are fun, right? In the heat of battle between the Dodgers and Padres, tempers flared for truly trivial reasons. On-field celebrations.

In the top of the 6th inning, former Dodger and general crybaby Manny Machado launched a home run off of Clayton Kershaw. Before leaving the batter’s box, he launched his bat almost as far as the ball in celebration, calling out to his dugout “let’s go!”

Flash forward to the 7th inning, in a key moment, Brusdar Graterol was brought in to face superstar shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr which lead to the play of the postseason so far.

In an undoubtedly huge momentum-shifting moment, Machado took exception to Graterol’s celebration of the homer robbing catch.

Now, to break it down in the way only he can, internet sensation Jimmy “Jomboy” O’Brien answered the far-reaching call online. Keep in mind it’s a bit NSFW.

Bellinger robs Tatís, Brusdar goes Crazy and Machado gets mad, a breakdown

The Dodgers went on to win the ballgame (barely) by a final of 6-5.

  1. Manny Meh-chado says it all. We paid the right guy name Mookie Betts a true leader. Cancer is gone and thank the baseball gods we didn’t pay him.

  2. I’m am so ,so, glad the Dodgers didn’t sign Machado the Dodgers are so fortunate because if he were on the team it would be him FIRST …….EVERYBODY ELSE SECOND….He is so arrogant ,and he may be a decent ball player, but I feel that the Dodger team is HAPPY they weren’t able to sign him , He is always complaining , about Balls and Strikes , always something with this guy He only bring the team Down in situations that they needed to be Up. His lack of hustle is so sickening , Here you have a young man (Grateral )showing his emotions at what took place at that moment only to be yelled at with great language being used ( swearing profusely) a real class competitor MACHADO is He showed is true colors !!! even though most of us know what he is about, I would never want my son to ever look up to him as a idol in sports or take after him. I’m happy for Grateral to enjoy that short moment, but more happy watching the cry baby , lose his temper.GREAT game Dodgers.!!! GREAT catch Cody !!!

  3. Graterol is what this team needs more of. Someone excited to be where he is and excited for the uniform he wears. I remember last years spark plug, Alex Verdugo. They both bring back recollections of the best of Dodger excitement, the great Micky Hatcher of 1988.

  4. The only reason Manny will not get any chin music is because we do not need anyone suspended for the Atlanta series.

    • Really? I can’t see anyone on dodgers charging anyone they only chirp in the dugouts. Wimps. AZ last yr and with astros this year. As a dodger fan I was embarrassed

  5. I’m glad the Orioles didn’t pay him and traded him for a bag of baseballs.. Even though the O’s have a whole other set of issues, Manny Machado isn’t one of them. And btw, he sucked as a shortstop. (great at 3rd though)
