Dodgers: Justin Turner Gets 500th Career RBI Against Oakland
Justin Turner’s solo home run in the 8th inning of last night’s 10-3 victory over the A’s may not have meant much for the outcome of the game for the Dodgers, but it meant a whole lot to the guy that hit it.
With that solo shot, Justin Turner reached 500 RBI in his major league career.

Of those 500 runs batted in, 410 of them have come while wearing Dodger blue. That total is good for 41st among the Dodgers’ all-time RBI leaders, but Turner can pass some other notable Dodgers this season including Mike Scioscia (446) and Adrian Gonzalez (448). With another year on his contract after 2021, it’s even possible for him to pass the likes of Shawn Greene (509) and Adrian Beltre (510) before his time in Los Angeles comes to a close.
Congratulations to Justin Turner on a great accomplishment!
