Dodgers: Justin Turner Shares His Favorite Moment of the Season So Far

This year, like most years since he joined the Dodgers, third baseman Justin Turner has had his fair share of big plays, hits, and moments on the field. In 2021 alone, he’s picked up his 500th career RBI, his 400th walk, and the first grand slam in 13 years as a big leaguer.

But none of those are what JT thinks about when he thinks of his favorite moment of the season so far. No, his favorite moment actually involves a fan… and it’s a little cheesy.

From this year, probably hitting the home run into the nachos and blowing up that guy’s nachos.

In a recent chat with a food prep partner of his, “Fresh n Lean,” the All-Star revealed that homer he on April 14 to be his favorite moment of the year so far. “I don’t like dairy, man!” JT added.

Nacho man Turner pointed out after the game that that too was a career first for him.

“Yeah, tonight was the first,” Turner said, when asked if he’d ever hit a home run into nachos before. “That was kind of fun.”

  1. My favorite moment of the season was today. We completed a sweep of the Braves that put us back in first place. Now we just have to stay there.
