Dodgers: Justin Turner’s Athletic Play Goes Viral
Sure, things didn’t go all that well for the Dodgers this weekend. With a lineup as powerful looking as theirs is, losing two of three to the Rockies wasn’t the way that they wanted to start out the year. But that’s just the way that things go sometimes.
But if there was anything to talk about from the losses, it was Justin Turner’s wildly athletic play. With the Dodgers and Rockies tied up in the 5th inning, Charlie Blackmon hit a pop-up into foul territory.
The Dodgers third baseman raced over to the dugout ledge to bring it in. But it was the plank-like form with the glove up to show the umpire that was probably even more impressive.

Dodgers fans certainly remember Yasiel Puig for a whole lot of excitement when he was in Los Angeles. Whether it was electric defensive plays or the charisma on the field, Puig electrified the stadium almost every single night. Now playing with the Kiwoom Heroes of the Korean Baseball League, Puig just launched his first grand slam. And it was very impressive.
