Dodgers: Kiké Hernández Gets His 2020 World Series Ring

The Dodgers already got their World Series rings from the 2020 championship run. But the guys that are no longer with the team will have to wait until they come to Dodgers Stadium to get theirs. Well, most guys will have to wait.

The Dodgers had previously said that players from the 2020 team would get theirs when they visit Dodger Stadium with their current team. But the Boston Red Sox do not come to Los Angeles in 2021, so Kiké Hernández got to get his much faster.

The former Dodgers super utilityman posted his ring that was (presumably) delivered to him today. He’s obviously wearing his Red Sox stuff, but the ring looks great nonetheless. It’s also a little bit satisfying to see the ring in Boston too.

Other former Dodgers “should” be getting their rings when they come out to Chavez Ravine. Pedro Baez should get his with the Astros when they come to Los Angeles in August. Alex Wood will receive his in May when the Giants come to town, and Joc Pederson gets one when the Cubs play here in June.

It’s going to be a little bit odd to see all of these guys playing with other teams and sporting the Dodgers World Series rings. But no matter where they go, they’ll always be a part of that team that brought championship glory back to Los Angeles.

  1. For Kiki and Jock. they deserve all Dodger fans can give them. It’ll be interesting how fans react with Pedro being on the cheater’s team.
