This one absolutely was NOT pretty. The hope is that these boys have a short memory and get back on track to take game 5 behind another Clayton Kershaw gem.

  1. If i was Roberts.. both Taylor and Smith would be benched for the rest of the WS.. I have seen Little Leaguer’s play better than either of them….

  2. I honestly have no interest in today’s game. I sense the end, that game was just too reminiscent of 2017 game 5, it was over after that even though the Dodgers won one more. There’s no cheating this time except the Dodgers cheated themselves

  3. Generally have liked Roberts, but there’s no forgiving the 2 bonehead moves made last night. Bringing Baez in–who has trouble with inherited runners, putting him out again in the 7th and then possibly the killer–bringing Jansen in with a one run lead in the 9th. As soon as I saw that I knew we had lost. I thought maybe Roberts had learned something by not bringing Kenley in in tight games, but apparently not. I think even bringing Buehler in to get 3 outs and a win would have been a good idea. He’s a young guy, had been shutdown and sure he would have enough left in the tank. We could have been up 3-1. Now I’m worried we may lose another series.

  4. I’m glad Kenneth isn’t Roberts, he’d be sitting down more than half the squad. Managers make mistakes just like players do, that’s why most managers aren’t in the world series. If everything worked out as Roberts thought would he’d be a genius. All players make mistakes one time or another, as they did in last night’s game. There isn’t a perfect team and there will never be. The saying goes, we win as a team and we lose as a team. To pick on one player for the loss is idiotic. What’s worse is when idiots threaten the player and his family. These idiots don’t know the true meaning of baseball. And when they start threatening players they don’t belong in anything involving Baseball because that’s not being a true fan. They should be ashamed and convicted for death threats.
