Player of the Day – Miguel Urena

A year after signing, Urena impressed in his 2014 debut allowing just three hits over five scoreless innings. He improved on that in his second start, which is his most recent, giving up just one hit in six frames.

The 6’8 19-year-old obviously has a long way to go and a lot of work to do to keep his mechanics in line, but the upside is as high as anyone in the system.
