Player of the Day – Chris Anderson

It’s been a tough first full season for Anderson. The Dodgers’ 2013 first rounder has struggled mightily with his command, thanks to changes to his mechanics.

His stuff however, is still where it was when the Dodgers took him 18th overall last June, with a fastball that peaks in the mid 90s.

On Thursday, Anderson went six strong innings, allowing just one run and one walk. The 21-year-old righty has been up and down this season but there’s still plenty of time for him to develop.
