Player of the Day – Lindsey Caughel

The 2012 23rd rounder missed time this year with an injury, but returned to the mound last week and has been outstanding in his second go-round with Rancho.

Caughel went seven scoreless innings on Saturday with eight strikeouts. He’s displayed outstanding control, walking just six batters in 52 innings. The right-hander has only modest stuff across the board but throws strikes and mixes four pitches.
