Player of the Day – Jharel Cotton

Two of the Dodgers’ late season stars pitched on Sunday. Jose De Leon went five solid innings, striking out nine, and Cotton posted 5.1 scoreless frames for the win. Over his last seven starts, Cotton has allowed just six earned runs and struck out 45. He leads the Cal League with 138 strikeouts and is tied for fourth with a 4.05 ERA.
