Dodgers: Mookie Betts Offers to Help Fan Who Literally Dropped the Ball

Dodgers fans in attendance on Tuesday night in DC were very lucky. Not only did they get to see a win, but they also were treated to another fantastic offensive performance from Mookie Betts. The superstar outfielder is making a habit of that lately.

Betts went deep twice in the win over the Nationals. But on one of his homers, a Dodgers fan in left had the chance to make the catch. Instead, that ball appeared to go off of his glove and back onto the field. He almost had another chance on Betts’ homerun late in the game, but it went over his head.

The Dodgers outfielder took to Twitter to do something that only he could do. Mookie wanted to find the fan that missed out on two of his homerun balls so that he could send him something special. What a guy.

The Dodgers went on another scoring rampage against the Nats last night, putting up 9 runs. They had just scored 10 runs against them the night prior. Up next, they two teams will go up against each other again on Wednesday afternoon.
