The Dodgers will start on the road and play their first playoff game since 2009, when they lost to the Philadelphia Phillies in the NL Championship Series. The Dodgers, who own the best road record in the league, will be going up against an Atlanta Braves team that owns the best home record. Going into the series, the Dodgers will be without Matt Kemp, who will miss the entire postseason due to an ankle injury and have yet to determine whether Andre Either will be good to go for the series.
With the amount of veterans the Dodgers have on their roster, it will be interesting to see how well their experience will rub off the younger players, especially Yasiel Puig. Little mistakes made in the regular season will not be forgotten so easily in the playoffs. The Dodgers will play Game 1 and 2 in Atlanta on Thursday and Friday and will look to return to Dodger Stadium with the lead on Sunday for Game 3.
