After outfielders Yasel Puig and Matt Kemp’s scuffle, questions and concern arose regarding the Los Angeles Dodgers’ locker room chemistry.
A.J. Ellis acknowledged the team is filled with different personalities and players can at times have their own agenda or goals in mind. However, Ellis went on to add the Dodgers get on the same page once a games begin.
Ellis also shared the same belief as Clayton Kershaw that winning helps build chemistry and that the team is playing together at this stage in the season. Recently, Carl Crawford also refuted the notion that the Dodgers have a dysfunctional locker room.
If the Dodgers have clubhouse troubles, they haven’t exactly shown on the field. The Dodgers are in position to clinch the National League West title for a second straight season as they hold a 2.5-game lead over the San Francisco Giants.
