Dodgers News And Rumors: Ramirez Wants To Be The Difference

[new_royalslider id=”335″] When the Los Angeles Dodgers made their historic run last season, Hanley Ramirez was at the center of it with one of the hottest bats in all of baseball.

Ramirez carried the Dodgers in the 2013 National League Division Series and was expected to do the same in the NL Championship Series. However, that was cut short when he was hit by a fastball that fractured a rib in Game 1.

With the Dodgers getting another shot at the St. Louis Cardinals, this time in the NLDS, Ramirez said he’s looking to finish what the Dodgers set out to complete last season. Ramirez went 2-for-5 with an RBI and run scored Friday, but his and the Dodgers’ effort weren’t enough as the Cardinals mounted a rally and hung on to win.

Ramirez will get an opportunity to build on his production in Game 1 as the two teams will meet again Saturday with first pitch scheduled for 6:37 p.m. PT.
