It seems a little early to start resting starters, but the Dodgers will be playing seven consecutive days with multiple day games by the time that the team finishes their series against the Rockies in Colorado over the weekend.
Due to the team playing in Colorado, it makes sense that Dave Roberts would sit two of his biggest bats in the lineup at Dodger Stadium so that he can use them in the hitter’s heaven that is Coors Field.
Logan Forsythe received extra reps at third base over the spring to get himself comfortable at the hot corner to fill in on days the Dodgers decide to rest Justin Turner.
This will be Chase Utley and Austin Barnes’ first starts of the season.
