Clayton Kershaw most recently made a rehab appearance for the Oklahoma City Dodgers over the weekend. All signs are pointing to success and health coming from that start, as he will be returning just when everyone originally predicted, the beginning of September.
This injury and recovery time has been eerily similar to last year’s back injury that Kershaw suffered. He missed time over the toughest part of the season and then made his way back just in time for him to ramp up into September and become ready to be a force for October.
The San Diego Padres are yet to announce who will be opposing him on Friday night. First pitch will be at 7:10 p.m. at Petco Park (Dodger Stadium South).
