Dodgers News: Corey Seager Named Cover Athlete for R.B.I. Baseball 17

During Dodgers FanFest Saturday afternoon, R.B.I. Baseball 17 announced Corey Seager as its cover athlete.

It’s the first time the All-Star Seager will appear on the cover of a baseball video game. The last Dodger to do so was Yasiel Puig, who graced the cover of MLB: The Show 15.

At just 22-years-young, Seager is capturing the hearts of baseball fans everywhere. The 2016 Rookie of The Year enters 2017 as one of the favorites for NL MVP.

Even as a rookie, Seager was the best hitter in the Dodgers’ lineup. He collected a .308 batting average with 26 homers, earning him the Silver Slugger for shortstops.
