Dodgers News: Dave Roberts Gives Justin Turner The Night Off
Justin Turner missed 4 straight games towards the end of May. His hamstring injury occurred during the crazy comeback win against the Mets last Wednesday night. Announced this afternoon, Dave Roberts will give Turner the night off.
As expected, no Turner. Four straight lefties at the top. Martin catches Ryu. pic.twitter.com/xdJe1PDQD8

No surprise from Alanna Rizzo on why Turner will miss tonight’s game. Turner returned to the lineup last night for the first time in nearly a week and went 2-4 at the plate.
Roberts yesterday said Justin Turner would get today or tomorrow off vs. one of Arizona’s righties. He got today.

Jorge Castillo reported that Roberts would have given Turner either today or tomorrow of vs. one of the righties in this series.
Perhaps it is time to get a new 3rd baseman, Turner is becoming injury prone!
Will Smith has just homered, and we lead the Snakes 2-0. I agree with Orel in that we could keep Smith on the big club, retain 3 catchers, and go from there. Will Smith is a nice breath of fresh air!! Go Blue!!
