Dodgers News: Dave Roberts Outlines Corey Seager Rehab Plan

According to manager Dave Roberts, shortstop Corey Seager will rejoin the Dodgers’ starting lineup immediately following the All-Star Break.

This is fantastic news for the young shortstop who was in the midst of one of the hottest streaks of his career at the time he sustained his injury.

Seager will have all the time necessary to rehab his injured left hamstring with both the All-Star Break and the easy-going stretch of minor league games he will play.

It will be interesting to see which direction the organization decides to go in as far as the roster as concerned. Everyone is hitting and it is going to make it tough to send someone like Matt Beaty or Kyle Garlick down to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Seager has posted a 119 wRC+ and 2.0 WAR through 66 games.

My name is Daniel Preciado and I am 19 years old. I am a sophomore Sport Analytics major and Cognitive Science and Economics dual minor at Syracuse University. When I am not in New York, I live in Whittier, California --- not too far from Chavez Ravine. I am pretty old-school for being an analytics guy and I will always embrace debate. Also, Chase Utley did absolutely nothing wrong.
