Dodgers Release Fan Fest Autograph Session And VIP Experience Info

The 2016 Dodgers Fan Fest is on Saturday, January 30 at 10:00 am, but that doesn’t mean you can’t buy your Autograph Session and VIP Experiences beforehand.

Starting on Friday, January 22, the Dodgers are making online sales of each one available at 12:00 PST. You can go online to www.dodgers.com/fanfest, and from there you can purchase either one.

With the autograph session, all proceeds will go to benefit the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation. Those donations will support programs and provide assistance to community organizations.

As far as the VIP experiences are concerned, they include Q&A sessions, battling lessons, pitching lessons, meet and greets, Dodger clubhouse tours, and Vin Scully press box tours.

FanFest is free and open to the public, but the VIP experiences and autograph session will have to be purchased.

LOS ANGELES – The Dodgers will hold their fourth annual offseason FanFest presented by State Farm on Saturday,January 30. A limited number of autograph session vouchers and VIP experience vouchers will be available for sale online tomorrow, Friday January 22 at 12:00 p.m. PST via www.dodgers.com/fanfest. VIP experiences include meet and greets, Q&A sessions, pitching lessons, batting lessons, Vin Scully press box tours and Dodger clubhouse tours. Vouchers will need to be purchased to get an autograph or attend a VIP experience.

All autograph session voucher proceeds will benefit the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF). Donations will support LADF programs and provide assistance to community organizations in the areas of education and literacy, health and wellness and sports and recreation. The event will be held at Dodger Stadium from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and will feature appearances and autographs from Dodger players, coaches and legends. FanFest is free and open to the public.

Parking gates open at 9:30 a.m. and fans may enter the stadium through the left or right field plaza gates at 10:00 a.m.Parking is free of charge. Dodger fans planning to attend the fourth annual offseason FanFest presented by State Farm will need to go online and download an admission ticket by visiting www.dodgers.com/fanfest.

Clubhouse Tour

Take a peek inside the Dodger clubhouse on this exclusive tour. Highlights also include visiting the Dodger bullpen, looking at the Dodger weight room and batting cage, stopping in the Dodger interview room and viewing the MVP, Cy Young, Silver Slugger and Rookie of the Year awards. Tours are available at 10:15 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 11:45 a.m.,12:30 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 2:45 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and last approximately 30 minutes.

Press Box Tour

Take a tour of the Vin Scully press box and call your favorite play in Dodger history from Vin Scully’s booth. Fans will be able to watch a memorable play, make the call and have their commentary recorded by AM 570 LA Sports. Tours are available at 10:15 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and last approximately 30 minutes.

Q&A and Photo

Participate in an intimate question and answer with current Dodger players in the Dodger interview room and take a picture with them. Two sessions are available: 11:00 a.m. with Scott Van Slyke and Kiké Hernandez and 2:00 p.m.with Joc Pederson and Justin Turner. Each session will be moderated by Dodger historian Mark Langill. This experience will last approximately 50 minutes. Players are subject to change without notice. Limit one (1) photograph per person. No autographs.

Meet & Greet

Participate in a meet & greet with a Dodger great, take a photo and receive their autograph. Three sessions are available:Clayton Kershaw at 10:30 a.m., Fernando Valenzuela and Pepe Yñiguez at 12:00 p.m. and Tommy Lasorda at1:30 p.m. This experience will last approximately 30 minutes. Dodger personnel subject to change without notice. You must bring your own camera for the photo opportunity. Limit one (1) photograph per person. You must also bring your own item to be autographed, limit one (1) per person.

Batting Lesson

Take a batting lesson from a former Dodger in the visiting team batting cage. Two sessions are available: 12:30 p.m. with Dodger alum Maury Wills and 2:30 p.m. with Dodger alum Ron Cey. This experience will last approximately one hour. Dodger personnel subject to change without notice.

Pitching Lesson

Take a pitching lesson from a former Dodger in the Dodger bullpen. Two sessions are available: 10:30 a.m. with Dennis Powell and 2:30 p.m. with Tim Leary. Plus, a current Dodger pitcher will make an appearance at each session. This experience will last approximately one hour. Dodger personnel subject to change without notice. This experience will change locations if there is inclement weather.

This event will take place rain or shine; although in case of inclement weather some on-field activities may have to be curtailed.

Fans will be able to buy Opening Day mini plans and individual game tickets, excluding Opening Day, at FanFest. Also, the Dodgers’ annual On Sale will be held exclusively online on Friday, January 29, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at www.dodgers.com. At that time, fans can purchase individual tickets to all 2016 season games and a very limited number of Opening Day tickets. The best way to guarantee Opening Day tickets is to purchase a mini plan.
