Dodgers News: Fans React to News of Walker Buehler’s Season Ending Surgery

All is going right for the Dodgers. Best record in the league, Dustin May is slated to come back and the postseason is right around the corner. Nothing can possibly ruin the vibes these days!

Well, I hate to break it to you, but unless you live under a rock you probably heard the news of Walker Buehler officially having season-ending elbow surgery despite speculation of him returning to the field soon. Buehler suffered a flexor tendon strain in June in his right elbow and was originally ruled out for about 10-12 weeks.

What was supposed to be an eventful week for Dodgers fans has now turned into a sour note leaving fans in dismay all over the country.

A proper reaction for a tough day. Buehler was making progress in his rehab playing catch and throwing the ball, but the pain and damage was too much to endure.

Buehler has pitched 65.0 innings in 12 games this season for a Dodgers team going through a rotating door of pitchers. Not to say the Dodgers have been struggling on the mound, but with the little continuity they’ve had all season long and championship aspirations, this news throws a wrench in things.

The two-time All-Star will now have to watch from the sidelines for at-least the rest of this season. Wishing for a speedy recovery for the young Ace.
