Dodgers News: Forsythe and Segedin to DL With Toe Injuries

The Los Angeles Dodgers have announced that both second baseman Logan Forsythe and utility man Rob Segedin have been placed on the disabled list. Both suffering from toe injuries.

Forsythe looks to have suffered a more major injury as he has fractured his right big toe. He was hit by a pitch in Tuesday’s game against the Rockies by their starting pitcher, Kyle Freeland.

Rob Segedin hits the disabled list with a right big toe strain.

According to Bill Shaikin of the LA Times, utility infielder Chris Taylor and outfielder Brett Eibner are already at Dodger Stadium, ready to take those two spots on the roster.

Outfielder Brett Eibner has been off to a hot start at triple-A, batting .344 with a .389 on base percentage.

After an amazing spring training, Chris Taylor has not had as hot of a start, hitting just .233 in 43 at bats.
