Unfortunately for the Dodgers’ organization, they will be losing the help of Grant Dayton; He will be having season ending Tommy John Surgery.

Grant Dayton has been an inconsistent piece of the Dodgers’ puzzle this year. With an ERA at 4.94, he has struggled especially as of late as his elbow injury intensified. In 2016, Grant Dayton had an ERA of 2.05 and the Dodgers do hope that the Dayton of the past will return.

Yet another injury claims the season of a Dodger. Although the hope is that none of the main pieces of the puzzle have a season ender, it is always hard to see a player go down. However with the depth of the Dodgers’ when one goes down, another hero rises. That hero could be the great Josh Ravin. Ravin is consistently getting the attention of the Dodgers’ and fans alike. After sitting out most of last year with a suspension, he has bounced back showing promise. His ERA sits at 2.16 and he has struck out 6 in his last 3 innings. The Dodgers are hoping to rely on him more this season as the year comes to a close.

Everyone in the Dodgers’ organization and fans alike wish Dayton a speedy recovery.
