Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Alex Wood turns 26 years old today.
Wood has battled injuries during his Dodger tenure, but will be given the chance to earn a significant role in the bullpen in 2017 spring training. The left-hander also serves as a spot starter.

Wood, a former University of Georgia standout, was acquired from the Atlanta Braves two trade deadlines ago. Our Brian Robitaille listed him as one of five under-the-radar Dodgers who could shine in 2017.
