Today, August 29th, 2017, is Chris “CT3” Taylor’s 27th birthday!
Chris Taylor is enjoying his breakout season in Major League Baseball, becoming a permanent member of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ starting lineup and showing his versatility all over the baseball diamond.

After Taylor struggled to break the team with the Mariners in 2016, the Dodgers traded their former first-round pick Zach Lee for Taylor in an effort to fix his swing and turn Taylor into what he was projected to become as he was a prospect rising through the Seattle ranks. They did just that.
Chris Taylor has arguably been the most important player on the Dodgers this season. He has given the team a real leadoff man, getting on base, stealing bags, playing good defense wherever they put him, and also hitting a surprising amount of home runs.
He is posting a .304/.376/.529 slash line. Added to that are 31 doubles, 17 home runs, 15 stolen bases and 62 runs batted in. Taylor went from a nobody utility man, bouncing between Triple-A and Major League Baseball, to a star that will most likely receive some MVP votes at the end of this season. It is the year of Chris Taylor and he could be the key man to help the Dodgers win it all.
