Joc Pederson did not have the best day at the plate on Thursday.

He went 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts, and his second strikeout ended up being his last action of the game.

In the bottom of the 7th, Pederson swung through a fastball and angrily slammed his bat and then his helmet directly into the ground in front of the umpire. The home plate umpire was having none of it and sent Pederson into the clubhouse for an early shower.

You can watch the video of him getting ejected here.

This is not the first time that Pederson has been ejected after striking out. It happened last season against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Regardless, the Dodgers finished the series against the Padres taking three of four and are now on there way to Colorado to take on the Rockies over the weekend.
