Joc Pederson has officially been placed on the disabled list with a right groin strain, just before the opening game of the series in San Francisco.
.@Dodgers place OF Joc Pederson (right groin strain) on 10-day DL; recall OF Brett Eibner from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Pederson originally hurt his groin running out a ground ball before being thrown out at first base on Sunday.
Taking his place will be Brett Eibner, who was just sent back down to Oklahoma City over the weekend.
Eibner went 3-for-5 with a single over the course of his first, short stint with the team. He will most likely be featuring as the backup center fielder to Kiké Hernandez while Joc Pederson is sidelined due to this injury.
On another note, Cody Bellinger is starting in left field tonight for the Oklahoma City Dodgers, which will be the first time he has played there this season.

Bellinger showing that he can be more versatile will only strengthen his chances of being called up to the big leagues earlier in 2017.
