Kiké Hernandez is a safe bet for one of the most beloved and likeable Dodgers on the team. After the latest fan interaction, his reputation just got a little bit stronger.

On Saturday, before the game against the rivals, a young fan asked for Hernandez’s batting gloves. In exchange, Hernandez asked for the kid’s shoes. As seen on the Dodgers Twitter account, the fan definitely won the trade:

Although Hernandez asked for the sneakers, he didn’t keep the shoes but he autographed both of them. The interaction between young fans and major league players are priceless  Often times, players are very focused and can show a mean streak.

This will probably go down as on of the most memorable moments for the fan, and social media has it documented forever too! As the Dodgers continue to play, they’ll make an impression on this generation of Dodgers fans.
