Opening Day is almost here! As fans prepare for the 2016 MLB season, it’s also the start of the end for Vin Scully’s broadcasting career.
The Los Angeles Dodgers posted this picture on their Snapchat (DodgersMLB) capturing Scully in the booth:

Scully spent some time with the media on Friday and talked about how it feels entering his final year, as well as some things that trouble him.
“The thing that bothers me, really and truly, is making it sound like because it’s my last year I’m more important than the game.”
Scully remains humble saying that in the booth at Dodgers stadium is where he belongs, and what he will miss the most is the roaring of the crowd.
Scully is one step closer to hearing that sound. The Dodgers are expected to fly back to California on Wednesday, but not everyone is making the trip back home.
MLB.com’s Ken Gurnick tweeting out that second baseman Howie Kendrick (calf) and catcher Yasmani Grandal (forearm) will stay in Arizona to continue rehabbing their injuries.
