In a weird week without baseball, the headlines were all over the place. Of course, we know that we’ll be without Dodger baseball for some time, but we’ll get to that in a bit.
First up, the biggest news of the week came when word got out that MLB had reached its verdict in the Red Sox cheating scandal…
While baseball is going through a shutdown, perhaps a more shocking headline came when whispers grew that the San Francisco Giants were looking at Yasiel Puig once again.
Our Doug McKain dug into Puig in the bay more.
One place taking advantage of the MLB shutdown is Dodger Stadium as construction continues at Chavez Ravine.
Now the important stuff… all of the above doesn’t mean much if there’s no baseball! Commissioner Manfred among others talked about the “what comes next” for MLB.
And the Dodgers organization spoke as well.
And finally, hope for baseball in 2020.
