Dodgers News: Vin Scully Added to Ring of Honor
Wednesday night was set to be another battle between baseball’s biggest rivals.
Before any of the game action took place, it was a night to honor the greatest sports broadcaster of all time, Vin Scully.
Vin Scully would be receiving his very own place beside the likes of Sandy Koufax, Tommy Lasorda and other Dodger legends in the Dodgers ring of honor.
The night felt magical.

After the reveal of his place in the ring of honor, Vin blessed us all with words that were all to familiar, yet missed by so much every single day that we do not get to hear him say them.
Vin addressed the crowd "For one last time, Hi everybody and a very pleasant good evening to you."

"Just between you and me, don't tell management, I don't deserve to be up there." You deserve it as much as anyone, Vin.

He finished his speech off with one last line that will never leave our ears…

So thank you, Vin. For the years of memories and for being the rock in something that millions of us fans will never forget.
