Dodgers News: What You Need To Know About The 2017 All-Star Game Ballot

It is that time again! The 2017 All-Star Game ballots are out and it is your job as Dodger fans to start voting. Major League Baseball fans can start voting on MLB.com, which started on Monday.

The 88th annual Major League Baseball All-Star Game will take place on Tuesday, July 11 at Marlins Park in Miami, FL. Fans will be able to vote up to five times every 24 hours and a maximum of 35 votes per fan. Ballots will be available until 11:59 p.m. ET on June 29.

After picking the starters for both the AL and NL teams, fans will have a chance to have to pick a “final vote” to choose the 32nd player on the roster for both leagues. Fans will vote for the Ted Williams All-Star Game MVP during the Mid-Summer Classic.

Outfield

Andre Ethier (No stats available)

Joc Pederson (.220 AVG, 1 HR, 7 RBI, 0 SB, 50 AB)

Along with Andre Ethier, there are six other players that are listed on the ballots but have yet to play in major league game in the 2017 season. So, if you don’t mind, here are the other options for outfielders.

Since 2011, Clayton Kershaw has represented the Dodgers in the last six All-Stars, so there will be no exceptions that we will be apart of the Mid-Summer Classic in 2017.

Yasiel Puig (2014), Adrián González (2015), Joc Pederson (2015), Yasmani Grandal (2015), Kenley Jansen (2016), and Corey Seager (2016) are looking to join the games for the second time in their career.
