Dodgers News: Yasiel Puig Spent Off Day At MLB Fan Cave In New York

Yasiel Puig has electrified Dodger Stadium and people around major league baseball are taking note as the star outfielder spent his off day in New York at the MLB Fan Cave.

So far this season, Puig is hitting .479 with four home runs and 10 RBIs as his arrival has fueled speculation that the Dodgers need to make a trade from their crowded outfield.



However, yesterday, we got to see Puig in a different light as he was playing ping pong with fans, signing autographs and even donated money to the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

At the end of the video, Puig is seen holding an All-Star ballot and makes one request:

“I want to go to the All-Star Game. Write my name here please”.

While Puig won’t see his name on the All-Star ballot, he can be selected by national league manager Bruce Bochy. If he isn’t selected by Bochy, Puig might find his way onto the Final Vote ballot.
