Dodgers News: Yasiel Puig’s One-Game Suspension Revoked

It was announced on Tuesday evening that the one-game suspension of Yasiel Puig for his explicit hand gestures has been revoked.

It all happened on June 14th when Yasiel Puig was suspended the for flipping the bird at heckling Indians fans.
Some agreed with the decision to suspend Puig, some didn’t. Puig immediately appealed the suspension and it was eventually revoked.

In agreement with the MLB, Yasiel Puig will make a charitable donation in lieu of the suspension.

Yasiel Puig has been on an exciting tear as of late batting .316 with four home runs and eight RBI’s in the past 2 weeks. Puig has also been a standout right fielder, arguably holding down the position better than anyone in the league.

Puig remains listed as day-to-day with knee and hamstring soreness. Until he is back and healthy it seems that Trayce Thompson will man the spot.
