Dodgers Officially Sign 22 International Prospects Including a Few Top Names
The Dodgers are once again proving why they have had so much success in the International market. Los Angeles went out and signed 22 prospects in international signing day for MLB, adding to their impressive pool of talent.
Among the prospects signed are Wilman Diaz ad Jesus Galiz. Wilman and Galiz were the only 2 players signed by the Dodgers that were featured in MLB Pipeline’s Top 30 International prospects this year. Diaz is a potential 5-star shortstop that ranked third overall, while Galiz is the top catcher available.

Dodgers Avoid Arbitration With Julio Urias
In total, the Dodgers signed 12 pitchers, 3 catchers, 4 infielders, and 3 outfielders to contracts. The vast majority of these players are coming out of Venezuela this year where the organization has developed a strong presence over the years.
