Do you plan on making the trip out to Chavez Ravine on Thursday, but you can’t seem to come up with an excuse to miss work or school? Don’t worry, the Dodgers have you covered with a note of their own.

That’s right, the Dodgers have all but guaranteed that you missing work or school for Opening Day will be excused. I’m almost 100 percent sure that your boss won’t mind you leaving work early to make it to their 1:10 PM game time. Oh, and by the way, you might want to get a head start on that Los Angeles traffic…so maybe just call off the whole day, don’t bother coming in. Your boss/teacher will understand, I’m sure.

The Dodgers kick off their game of the season against the Diamondbacks on Thursday in the afternoon. Hyun-jin Ryu will get the ball against former Dodger Zack Greinke.
