The Los Angeles Dodgers will be closing out their home stand vs. the San Diego Padres beginning on Thursday. This is the Dodgers final home stand before the 2016 All-Star Break.

Despite Clayton Kershaw (back) still being out due to injury the Dodgers have finally received some much needed help in their rotation. Pitcher Brandon McCarthy made his return last week vs. the Colorado Rockies, and will make his second start vs. the Padres.

Friday: LHP Hyun-Jin Ryu

The biggest news is pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu making his return for the Dodgers. Ryu will pitch in the series opener on Thursday after not having played in a game since the 2014 playoffs.

Friday: LHP Scott Kazmir

Kazmir is coming off a strong performance vs. the Colorado Rockies where he recorded 10 strike outs in six innings of work.

Saturday: RHP Brandon McCarthy

In his first start since undergoing Tommy John Surgery, McCarthy had five scoreless innings.

Sunday: RHP Kenta Maeda

Maeda looks to rebound from a tough outing vs. the Baltimore Orioles where he came off one of his worst starts.
