Dodgers Power Rankings Round Up: Week 12
After winning six games in a row, including a three-game sweep of the Washington Nationals, the Los Angeles Dodgers traveled to Pittsburgh to take on the Pirates and hit a little rough patch. The team lost the first three games but avoided a sweep by stealing the fourth game. The road trip then continued to Milwaukee where the Dodgers took the first game of the series and got Julio Urias his first major league victory.
Getting your first hit? Cool.
Getting your first RBI? Awesome.
Getting all of that in your first win? Priceless.

The Dodgers are 7-3 in their last ten games but still sit six games behind the San Francisco Giants in the NL West race, but, are in pole position for the first wild card spot with a 43-36 record.
Every week, numerous national media outlets release power rankings for the league, lets see where our Dodgers stand this week.
ESPN Power Ranking: Dodgers No. 8 (Last week: No. 12)
Reasons: The Dodgers recently went on a streak of 15 straight games with at least one home run which vastly helped their otherwise pedestrian power numbers for the rest of the season. A concern however, is the fact that the Dodgers have already used eight starting pitchers this season after using an astonishing 13 in the year prior.
The Chicago Cubs and Giants occupy the first and second spots.
Bleacher Report Power Ranking: Dodgers No. 6 (Last week: No. 7)
Reasons: Despite losing three of four to the Pirates, sweeping the Nationals is still no small feat. In addition, rookie sensation Corey Seager continued his amazing run of form and now carries with him a slash line of .298/.356/.528 to go along with 16 homers and 38 RBI’s. Seager is looking more and more likely to make a trip down to San Diego for the MLB All-Star game in July.
The Giants moved up from No. 3 to No. 1 and the Cubs fell back to No. 2.
#SeagerSmooth triple to extend his hitting streak.
